After 18 long years of heart break, Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) are finally champions of IPL 2025, and as such, millions of fans are celebrating. The victory was not just emotional for every fan, it was historic too. The journey for RCB has been fantastic: from securing their spot in the final after an exhilarating eight-wicket victory against Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1, to finally lifting their maiden IPL trophy. As fans look back on this seminal occasion, we have created a special RCB IPL 2025 Champions Wallpaper so you can download it and keep this unforgettable moment alive on your devices!
Throughout IPL 2025, RCB delivered consistently with both bat and ball. They became the first team in IPL history to win all away games in the league stage. While Captain Rajat Patidar led admirably, Virat Kohli was in peak form, scoring over 600 runs with eight fifties—the most by any batter this season. Notably, whenever Kohli scored a half-century while chasing, RCB never lost. This marks the fifth time Kohli crossed 600 runs in a single season, but this time, his brilliance was backed by a complete team performance.

RCB’s success wasn’t a one-man show. This year, nine different batters scored fifties, including Tim David, Phil Salt, Jitesh Sharma and Patidar. The bowlers also donned their thinking caps and made an impact on the game, with Josh Hazlewood leading the lineup with 21 wickets, followed by Krunal Pandya and Bhuvneshwar Kumar with 15 wickets each and Suyash Sharma added 8 wickets. Lungi Ngidi, Romario Shepherd and Liam Livingstone were also important in their contribution. It's also important to note that a total of nine RCB players earned Player of the Match accolades, indicating that this title was truly a joint effort. RCB’s 2025 campaign will be remembered for breaking historical barriers. They finally defeated CSK both home and away—winning at Chepauk for the first time in 17 years. They beat MI at Wankhede after 10 years, and toppled KKR at Eden Gardens after six seasons. Back in New Delhi, where Kohli is from, they snapped a seven-year streak of not winning, with a thumping win against the Delhi Capitals. Their last league victory over LSG, where they chased down 228 runs with ease, proved they were past the halfway point. In the end, they finished in second place, and proved that they can punch a hole through a bowling attack. These were more than just wins, they were a hammer!
RCB rewrote several IPL records this year. Their Qualifier 1 win over PBKS—chasing with 60 balls to spare—was the biggest victory in any IPL knockout game. Jitesh Sharma’s unbeaten 85* off 33 was the highest score ever at No. 6 or lower. His 107-run partnership with Mayank Agarwal was RCB’s best for the fifth wicket in a chase. Phil Salt became the third fastest to 1000 IPL runs, achieving it in just 576 balls. As RCB rewrites history, download the official RCB Champions Wallpaper to mark this iconic season forever!
Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) had an impressive run in IPL 2025, winning 10 out of their 14 league games and peaking at the right time. They began their campaign with wins over KKR and CSK, followed by a loss to GT. Despite setbacks against DC, PBKS, and SRH, RCB bounced back strongly with key victories against MI, RR (twice), PBKS (reverse fixture), DC (away), CSK (home), and LSG. One match against KKR was washed out. Their dominant eight-wicket win over table-toppers Punjab Kings in Qualifier 1 sealed their place in the final.
