The second T20I of the three-match series is all set to be staged at the County Ground in Bristol, UK. England clinched a comfortable 21-run win on the back of some splendid performances from Jos Buttler (96 off 59) and Liam Dawson (4-20) to take an early 1-0 lead in the series. Harry Brook's white-ball captaincy appointment has brought about some immediate reforms to the England team. Under his leadership, England crushed the West Indies in a three-match ODI series by 3-0, bringing an end to an endless ODI series win drought. And now in the shortest format, England continue to dominate the tourists.
There has not been much fortune for the Men in Maroon in this tour. After conceding the ODI series by 3-0, the visitors lost an early advantage of exerting their dominance on the hosts. Their bowling attack leaked a lot of runs in the crucial stages, and some of their prime batters failed to go big despite getting off to a positive start. The only two notable performances came from Romario Shepherd(22 off 33, 2/33_ and Evin Lewis (39 off just 23). The West Indies have remained winless in their past five T20I and are desperately seeking an urgent turnaround to get back to winning ways.

The pitch at the County Cricket Ground in Bristol generally suits the batters, especially in the limited-overs format. The surface has plenty of bounce and carry to offer, making stroke play a rewarding experience. However, these factors can be influenced by overhead conditions. Besides, the dry and abrasive nature of the pitch also keeps the spinners in the game. Ground statistics suggest that a score between the range of 165-70 is highly achievable while batting first.
