In the Final of the IPL 2025, Royal Challengers Bengaluru vs Punjab Kings (RCB vs PBKS) has been scheduled for Tuesday evening (June 3) at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad. It is the final battle for the IPL 2025 title, as both teams dream of lifting the trophy for the first time.
They were the top two teams in the final IPL 2025 points table. Punjab Kings were the top-placed team, and RCB were the second-placed team, both earning 19 points each after 14 games. In Qualifier 1, RCB thrashed PBKS by eight wickets with 60 balls remaining after bundling out their opponents for only 101 runs.
After losing Qualifier 1, Punjab Kings faced Mumbai Indians in Qualifier 2 and won by five wickets with six balls remaining after successfully chasing the 204-run target.
It will be the fourth meeting between Punjab Kings and Royal Challengers Bengaluru in the IPL 2025. After PBKS won the first clash by five wickets, RCB won the next two battles by seven wickets and eight wickets, respectively.

In the RCB squad, if Tim David regains his fitness, he will replace Liam Livingstone for the Final. Otherwise, the three-time IPL runners-up will play with their Qualifier 1 squad. Meanwhile, Yuzvendra Chahal's fitness is still in concern as he wasn't fully fit for the Qualifier 2 despite completing his four-over quota in that match.
