Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) will play against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the seventieth match of IPL 2025 at the Bharat Ratna Shri Atal Bihari Vajpayee Ekana Cricket Stadium in Lucknow.
When they last played these two teams, In Match 15 of IPL 2024, Lucknow Super Giants (LSG) beat Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) by 28 runs. Quinton de Kock gave LSG a strong start with a well-made 81, and Nicholas Pooran added quick runs at the end with an unbeaten 40. Finally, In the first innings, LSG scored 181 runs. RCB’s chase didn’t go well, as they lost key wickets quickly, including Virat Kohli and Faf du Plessis. Young fast bowler Mayank Yadav bowled with great speed and took 3 important wickets, helping LSG seal a solid win.
Rajvardhan Hangargekar: He is a bowling all-rounder who has taken 14 wickets in 16 T20 matches. He can also hit some big shots in the final overs and gives the team an extra bowling option in the second innings.
Manimaran Siddharth: He is a left-arm spin bowler who does well when the pitch helps spinners. In LSG’s first match of IPL 2025 against Delhi, he came in as an Impact Player and took two wickets, getting off to a good start this season and he didn't play more matches in IPL 2025.
Himmat Singh: He is a middle-order batsman who can hit big shots in the last few overs. He was used as an Impact Substitute against Rajasthan Royals and can help the team score quick runs at the final overs.
Swastik Chikara: He is a domestic batsman who’s been playing well recently. He can be useful if RCB loses early wickets or if a top-order batter needs to be replaced. In the next crucial match, he will be a crucial player in the no3 spot.
Mohit Rathee: He is a young all-rounder who bats in the middle and bowls leg-spin. In his last two domestic T20 matches, he scored 54 runs and took one wicket, showing he can help with both bat and ball in crucial times.
Swapnil Singh: He is a left-arm spinner who did a good job last season, taking six wickets in seven matches. He can also chip in with some runs lower down the order. He can bowl with the new ball also.
