In a thrilling Match 11 of the 2025 Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, Eagle Nashik Titans chose to field against Puneri Bappa. In a delightful last-over run chase at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, the Titans held their nerve to achieve a narrow 5-wicket win in the final over.
Batting first, Puneri Bappa scored 149/7 in their 20 overs. Yash Kshirsagar scored a good knock of 34 from 27 balls, while Murtaza Trunkwala (33 from 25) and Suraj Shinde (26 from 18) made useful contributions. The innings was marked by little but significant partnerships; however, no batsman could make their start count with a game-changing innings. The bowlers of Eagle Nashik Titans were tight all along, headed by Mukesh Choudhary, who picked 2 for 24 in 4 overs. Akshay Waikar (2/27) and Prashant Solanki (1/27) also made key breaks, keeping PB to a chaseable score.
In response, the Eagle Nashik Titans hunted down the 150-run target in 19.3 overs, ending on 150/5. Rohan Damle anchored the innings with a mind-blowing 80 off 49 balls, scoring 9 fours and 2 sixes in a winning performance. Ranjeet Nikam remained not out on 25 off 25 to take the team through in the last over. Despite PB's bowlers—Sachin Bhosale (1/25), Nikit Dhumal (1/28), and Sohan Jamale (1/15)—taking timely wickets, the Titans' momentum could not be halted. With this win, Eagle Nashik Titans achieved a nail-biting victory as well as two important points during the league stage.
