In the 15th match of the 2025 Maharashtra Premier League (MPL) between Satara Warriors (STW) and Eagle Nashik Titans (ENT), played at the Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune, Eagle Nashik Titans chose to bowl first against Satara Warriors. In a tough-fought game with disciplined bowling and a nervy run chase, ENT showed nerves to win the game by 3 wickets with four balls remaining.
The Satara Warriors batted first and were skittled for 115 in 19.5 overs. They had a couple of small contributions to add to the total from Aniket Porwal, 26 off 25 balls, and the aggressive Harshal Kate, with 25 off 17 balls. Pavan Shah contributed a steady 23 off 24, but the regularity of wickets kept hurting STW with their momentum. The ENT bowlers kept it very tight, and Prashant Solanki, the captain, took a game-changing 4/19 from his 4 overs and had great support from Rohan Damle 2/21 and Mukesh Choudhary 2/32 to dismiss the Warriors at a modest total.
Pursuing 116, Eagle Nashik Titans reached the target in 16.5 overs at 118/7. Despite losing wickets at a quick pace, Mandar Bhandari stabilized the chase with a sedate 22 off 22, and Siddhant Doshi chipped in with 21 off 17. Ranjeet Nikam's winning 18 off 13 put it in the bag towards the end. In spite of a gritty comeback by STW's bowlers—Vivek Shelar (2/33) and Rajvardhan Hangargekar (2/38) broke through—ENT crossed the line. This dogged victory guaranteed two precious points for Eagle Nashik Titans from the league stage.
