Eagle Thane Strikers (ETS) won the second game by 4 wickets over Arcs Andheri (AA) at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai, in the 18th match of Mumbai T20 League 2025. Arcs Andheri won the toss and preferred to bat first, but their strategy backfired as ETS chased the target pretty effortlessly and continued with their spate of success in the tournament.
Arcs Andheri decided to bat first and scored 134/6 in their 20 overs. Prasad Pawar scored a lone warrior's 57 off 50 balls, while Akhil Herwadkar supported him with a 40-run contribution from 35 balls. The remaining top-order batsmen were unable to capitalize on the platform set by them. Eagle Thane Strikers applied pressure throughout the innings, and Shashank Attarde produced an excellent spell of 3/19 in four overs. Ankur Singh (1/31) and Atharva Ankolekar (0/12 in 2 overs) restricted the scoring in the vital middle overs.
Chasing 135 for the win, Eagle Thane Strikers again indicated their batting strength. Ajit Yadav held the innings together with a fine 66 from 49 balls, keeping his team ahead in the pursuit. Supportive knocks were played by Anish Chaudhery (19 from 15) and Sairaj Patil (16 from 15) as ETS wrapped up the victory at 135/6 in 17.5 overs. Though Prasoon Singh took 3/27 and there was a fightback from Monil Soni and Musheer Khan, Arcs Andheri couldn't hold on to their score.
Eagle Thane Strikers had already qualified for the playoffs with their last win and confirmed their second position with this win too. Arcs Andheri, on the other hand, has been out of playoff contention in the Mumbai T20 League 2025.
