SOBO Mumbai Falcons (SMF) posted a comprehensive 9-wicket win over North Mumbai Panthers (NMP) while pursuing 133 in a one-way Mumbai T20 2025 match at the Dr. DY Patil Sports Academy, Mumbai. The clinical pursuit reflected SMF's top-order class and effective bowling.
NMP was unable to pick up pace with some fair contributions from the top order. Gaurav Jathar made a solid contribution of 34 runs from 32 deliveries, while captain Sourabh Singh hit a lightning-quick 28 from only 14 deliveries. Divyaansh Saxena contributed 23 from 27, but the middle and lower order did not convert as NMP was restricted to 132/8 in their 20 overs. Siddharth Raut was the pick of the bowlers for SMF with a brilliant spell of 4 for 14 off 4 overs, shattering the Panthers' backbone. Nikhil Giri took 2/35, and Kartik Mishra took 1/21 to keep the Panthers from ever getting started.
In reply, SMF openers Ishan Mulchandani and Harsh Aghav mocked the pursuit. Harsh made a smooth 64 off 40 deliveries, and Ishan was even more destructive, thumping 61 from just 25 balls. The duo contributed most of the runs before Angkrish Raghuvanshi got the team to 135/1 in 11.5 overs. NMP's bowlers were left speechless, with Ayush Vartak getting the single wicket. Alim Shaikh and Rahul Sawant were wicketless and costly as SMF ended the match with ease.
