SBMF won the toss and chose to bowl first, with ETS making a competitive total of 151/8 in their respective 20 overs. Sairaj Patil led the batting with a fluent 61 runs off 37 balls. He had good support from Vinay Suresh Kumar, who scored 39 runs off 25 balls, while Harsh Aghav was the best of the SBMF bowlers with 3/30 in 4 overs.

In reply, SOBO Mumbai Falcons were bowled out for 115 in just 15.4 overs. Shreyas Iyer scored 25 runs from 14 balls, but the bowler's for ETS on the day were too strong.
