Only a couple of days left before the beginning of the first test of the five-match series between England and India. Ahead of the match, Team India has been engaged in intense training sessions.
They will have to push as much as possible to grab the best possible outcomes, and that too without three legends: Ravichandran Ashwin, Rohit Sharma, and Virat Kohli. Three retirements left the squad with huge voids that needed to be filled. The results against the host nation will project the possible trajectory of the newly shaped team India, set to be led by Shubman Gill.
The first match is scheduled to be held at Leeds on June 20. Before that, a report came out about a few players of the current Indian squad and Virat Kohli. According to the Revsportz report, Virat Kohli, too, is in London, and he invited multiple players from the squad to his home. Selected cricketers visited Virat's place in London during the evening. Newly appointed captain Shubman Gill, his deputy Rishabh Pant, and pace bowler Mohammed Siraj were among the guests of the former India skipper.

For enough preparations, BCCI sent two sets of teams to the UK. The India 'A' team played a couple of unofficial Tests against the England Lions and then an intra-squad match. After some days of continuous training, the team management decided to send all the players for an off day. During this relaxation time, Gill, Pant, and other selected players were there in Virat Kohli's house in London, media reports suggested.
