On Match 10 of the Vidarbha Premier League (VPL) 2025 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Nagpur, NECO Master Blaster (NMB) defeated Orange Tigers (ORT) by 6 wickets. NMB won the toss and decided to bowl first and restricted ORT to a reachable target. The bowlers set the tone early behind two free wickets, and their batsmen chased down the total with ease. The clinical performance made sure NMB made easy work of this totally.
The Orange Tigers, batting first, made a score of 195/6 in their 20 overs. Rohit Binkar top-scored with a steady innings of 51 off 45 balls, anchoring the innings, while captain Darshan Nalkande scored quickly, amassing a total of 38 runs off of just 15 balls to boost the total. Kshitiz Dahiya scored some runs, and a total of 25 runs were added by ORT leaving the score fairly competitive. NMB did a good job of holding things in check with the bowlers, led by Sanmesh Deshmukh with figures of 2/58 in 4 overs. Arya Duragkar took a wicket (1/26), and Kartik Rathod took a wicket (1/26) also.
NECO Master Blaster (NMB) chased their target of 196 and finished with the score of 196/4 in 19 overs. Aryan Meshram led the charge and achieved an unbeaten total of 81 runs off 51 balls, while captain Sanjay Raghunath made a total of 58 runs off 31 balls in their partnership, which was soon the defining moment of the match. Jitesh Sharma added a brisk 31(23) as NMB overcame the target challenge with ease. There was little assistance for ORT's bowlers this match, although Saurabh Dubey did return a reasonable 2/38 in his 4 overs, and Gaurav Bhohse supported with 1/18, but the runs were flowing far too easily. NMB gained a comfortable 6-wicket victory with an over left.
