Orange Tigers (ORT) won comfortably by 8 wickets (DLS) against Nagpur Titans (NAH) in Match 6 of Vidarbha Premier League (VPL) 2025 at Vidarbha Cricket Association Stadium, Jamtha, Nagpur. ORT opted to bowl first after winning the toss, and their decision was rewarded as their bowlers kept NAH under a tight leash while setting a chaseable total.
Nagpur Titans scored 153/6 from their 20 overs thanks to a gritty 52 from 38 balls by Shubham Dubey. There were 34 (30) from captain Jagjot Singh Sasan and 26 from 25 balls from Sahil Sabir Sheikh that brought their team up to a decent score. The Orange Tigers' bowlers did a good job keeping the pressure on, with Saurabh Dubey picking up 2/9 from 4 brilliant overs. Kshitiz Dahiya also picked 2/28, while skipper Darshan Nalkande picked just one wicket but was costly with 45 runs in his overs.
In response, the Orange Tigers were in control of their run chase and easily reached 116/2 in 13.4 overs (DLS method). Wicket-keeper batter Rohit V. Binkar led the chase with a destructive 62 from 39 balls. Apoorv Wankhade provided useful support with 35 from 29, and Akshay Karnewar's late innings burst (9 from 4) ensured a quick close. The bowlers of the Titans were working hard to break through—Aditya Sanjay Kukde and Rahul Dongarwar each claimed a single wicket, but it was insufficient to stop the Orange Tigers from claiming an easy victory.
