The bowlers, notably Parth Rekhade (1/27) and Mandar Kiran Mahale (1/28), tried to stem the flow of runs but to no avail, as NMB posted a challenging total.
In reply to 200, Nagpur Heroz fought hard but were unable to chase it down and finished at 185/9 in 20 overs and lost by 14 runs in a competitive match-up. Siddhesh Wath led from the front with a fighting 51 off 35 balls to keep the chase alive with his attacking stroke play. Mandar Kiran Mahale made a contribution with a determined 46 off 30, attempting to establish a partnership under strain. Parth Rekhade's 39 off 23 brought a late charge, but not enough to bridge the gap. NECO Master Blaster captain Sanjay Raghunath flipped the game around with a stellar 5/24, while NAH players Sannesh Deshmukh (2/37) and Kartik Rathod (1/5) helped prevent NAH from crossing the boundary.
